To create a new user in Linux Mint , follow the simple steps below :

1. Go to Preferences - user accounts.

2. Unlock the user account setting with your admin password.

3. Click on add (+) icon to add a new user account.

4. Select account type ( eg. Standard), give full name and username.

5. Click on create.

6. Again select on new user just created and give the password to login the system.

7. To save the setting , Click on lock icon to lock it again.

8. Thus a new user is created on Linux Mint.
