Mounting Considerations
22.5 in Transom height (when transom angleat 5°):
30.9 lbs Dry mass [weight]
Antiventilation Plate: [bottom plate] should be 6'' [or more] under water
Transom angle : 4 stages (5°, 10°, 15°, 20°)
Tilt up angle (when transom angle @ 5 degrees : 75°

Lubrication system: Oil slinger system [Forced air cooling]
Capacity & Specified oil [API standard]:
Engine 0.26 US qt : (SG, SH or SJ oil) SAE 10W-30
Gear case 0.05 US qt : (GL-4)SAE 90 outboard gear oil
Ignition system: Transistorized Ignition Control Module (ICM)
Spark plug ; CR4HSB (NGK) or U14FSR-UB (DENSO)
Spark plug gap : 0.024 0.028 in

Gas= 6.1 lb / gallon

Engines Fuel Consumed?

Diesel engines = 1 gal/hr/18hp : Estimate HP x 0.055 = Gal Fuel/Hr
Cruise speed uses ~2/3 : max HP.
Design run continuously @ 60-75% max spd.

Gas engines = 1 gal/hr/10 hp : Estimate HP x 0.100 = Gal Fuel/Hr [inboards]

two stroke motors have greater thirst than 4-stroke motors.

Economy :
Any attempt force displacement hull beyond max theoretical hull speed = exponentially higher fuel consumption & minimal gain in speed.
On the other hand, slowing down a little almost always is rewarded by gains in economy, and thus range.
This same principle applies to high-speed planing hulls as well but only up to the point at which they start to come off plane.

Fuel Reserve Rule of Thumb, 1/3 fuel each : get there, get back ,emergency backup.
