Tuna ,Blackfin Tuna - A light-tackle species, the blackfin can be taken by trolling or casting small lures, flies, or natural baits, including ballyhoo, mullet, and other small fish. Also as strip baits, spoons, feathers, jigs, or plugs.
Tuna ,Bluefin Tuna - one of largest bony fishes,reach lengths up 10 ft., more common 2 to 7 ft. Adultrange300-1500 pounds [upper range rare]. can dive as deep as 3000 ft. , known to swim long distances as are highly migratory species.

Tarpon - caught casting or live bait from boats or shore. rips off line fast , explodes surface like rocket. bites with easily read flashing side,or huge boil. no doubt when responds, but mouth offers little resistance if not properly pointed before attempt to set hook.
